Amit Malviya criticizes Rahul Gandhi for attacking PM Modi
New Delhi (IANS). BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya on Friday criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He wrote in a tweet, “Rahul Gandhi could not even show the decency to sit during the entire discussion on the no-confidence motion moved by the opposition. He was not in the House during the Home Minister’s speech and went out when the Prime Minister spoke. Worse, when the discussion on women’s safety was going on in Parliament, he was giving flying kisses like a ‘lukha’. Such a man has dared to come out and raving like a madman.
Malviya said India deserves a more responsible opposition.
Earlier in the day, the Congress MP from Kerala’s Wayanad while addressing a press conference hit out at the Prime Minister, saying that the PM might not want to see his face on television, but would have to see his video.
He made the remark while referring to Parliament TV showing only 14 minutes of his over 37-minute speech on the no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha.
