Amit Shah criticized the opposition in Telangana

Peddapalli: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday criticized the opposition parties in Telangana and said voting for Congress and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi means voting for Bharat Rashtra Samithi.
Amit Shah held a road show in Peddapalli district of Telangana and asked voters to make BJP win in the upcoming elections in the state.
Amit Shah said, “Voting for Congress and Owaisi means voting for BRS. If you vote for him, your vote will automatically go to KCR. Modi ji has decided that every woman will be given 4 gas cylinders for free. BJP has decided that our government will buy rice from all farmers at MSP of Rs 3,100 per quintal.”

He further said that if BJP comes to power in Telangana, it will celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day on 17th September every year.
“KCR does not celebrate Hyderabad Vimochana Diwas (Kalyana-Karnataka Liberation Day) because of Owaisi.
We have decided that every year September 17 will be Hyderabad Liberation Day when BJP forms the government. Modi ji is going to consecrate Ramlala in Ayodhya on 22 January. Do you all want to go to Ayodhya? Form the BJP government and we will give everyone darshan of Ram Lalla for free.”

“Replace the corrupt KCR government and form the BJP government and we will put all those involved in corruption in jail,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has repeatedly raised the issue of the existing Muslim reservation in Telangana, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah announcing that the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) will end it if his party wins the elections. Will finish it. President Asaduddin Owaisi has said that BJP is ‘lying’ because reservation in the state is not given on the basis of religion.

In an interview with ANI, the AIMIM chief said there is empirical data on the social and educational backwardness of Muslims following the report of late PS Krishnan.

“BJP is lying. The reservation being given to Muslims in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is not on the basis of religion. First, there is empirical data on the social and educational backwardness of Muslims.

Secondly, the late PS Krishnan had drafted a report which said that there are some backward classes in the Muslim community and they should get it (reservation), and not the upper caste Muslims. Third, not every Muslim is getting it,’ Owaisi said
Assembly elections in Telangana are to be held in a single phase on November 30.

The state is set for a triangular contest between the ruling BRS, Congress and BJP. The votes along with four other states will be counted on December 3.
