An explosion occurred in a firecracker manufacturing factory in Virudhunagar

Virudhunagar: An explosion took place in a firecracker manufacturing factory at Narayanapuram Pudur near Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district on Saturday. There is no news of any casualty so far in the fire incident. As soon as information about the incident was received, fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. The clear reason as to why the incident occurred is not yet known.
