Sri Guru Ram Rai Paramedical College inaugurated in Kotdwar
Shri Guru Ram Rai Paramedical College, a unit of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun, was inaugurated in Padampur on Monday. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan formally inaugurated the Paramedical College as the chief guest. Admissions on graduate level courses BMRIT, BMLT, BPT, B.Sc Optometry and B.Sc Microbiology will start from this session in SGRR Paramedical College, Padampur.

Manmargain, Officer on Special Duty, Darbar Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj, Dehradun and special guest Dr. Praveen Kumar, Chief Medical Officer Pauri and Dr. Ajay Kumar Khanduri, Registrar, Guru Ram Rai University jointly.

He said that the need for a paramedical college was being felt in Kotdwar area for a long time. Under the guidance of Shri Maharaj ji, Shri Guru Ram Rai Paramedical College will provide golden opportunities for medical education and employment to the youth here. He gave best wishes to all office bearers, officers, teachers, staff and Kotdwar residents of Shri Guru Ram Rai Group.
Dr. R.P. Dhyani said that the educational institutions of Shri Guru Ram Rai Group are doing remarkable work in the field of school education, higher education, medical education, health and medicine all over North India. After the opening of Paramedical College in Kotdwar area, now the process of opening Nursing College of Sri Guru Ram Rai University has been started in Kotdwar. Very soon SGRR University will also establish Nursing College at Kotdwar with the willpower of Vidhansabha Speaker Madam and everyone’s cooperation. D.P. Mamgain, as a representative of Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, Chancellor of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, said that the result of the far-reaching thinking of Shri Maharaj ji is that Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital of SGRR Group will provide health facilities to every village in Uttarakhand. Dr. Ajay Kumar Khanduri, Registrar of Shri Guru Ram Rai University informed about the constituent schools of Shri Guru Ram Rai University and the work being done by them. He informed that recently the 11th School Yogic Science of Sri Guru Ram Rai University has also started. He also presented many Garhwali verses and examples in his speech. Principal of SGRR School of Paramedical Sciences, Dehradun, Dr. Kirti Singh also expressed her views in the programme.

Cultural performances were a hit
The colorful presentations of SGRR students in the inaugural program was a hit. The music of the song enthralled the audience till late evening. Student Vanshika and the group started the program with a welcome song. Sejal, a student of SGRR Public School, won everyone’s heart with her mesmerizing performance on the song Hey Madhu Garhwali. Student Shreejal and the group spread the culture of different regions of Uttarakhand on the stage through mashup songs, and the group enthralled the youth beats with an attractive performance on Haryanvi song. On the other hand, Neha, Gaurav and group stunned the audience with their disciplined presentations of Yogasanas.
