Andhra: Canara Bank sanctions loan of ₹393.17 crore.

Narasaraopet: Canara Bank reaffirmed its commitment to financial inclusion and inclusive development by participating in the Credit Outreach Programme held at Narasaraopet in Palnadu district on Friday, according to a statement issued by Canara Bank management here on Sunday. The credit outreach programme was organised by the State-level Bankers’ Committee. The event was graced by Union Minister for Finance Nirmala Sitharaman and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.Executive Branch

Brajesh Kumar Singh, Managing Director and CEO, Canara Bank, joined the dignitaries in distributing loan sanction letters to eligible beneficiaries and extending Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance, underscoring the Bank’s continued focus on empowering communities through financial access and social development.

During the programme, loan assistance amounting to Rs 393.17 crore was sanctioned to beneficiaries across various priority sectors, enabling entrepreneurship, livelihood generation and economic empowerment. In addition, CSR assistance of Rs 36.85 lakh was extended towards community welfare initiatives, reflecting Canara Bank’s commitment to creating sustainable social impact beyond banking.
