Pan Masala Owner’s Daughter-in-Law Commits Suicide, Case Against Husband and Mother-in-Law

New Delhi: It is known that Deepti Chaurasia, the 38-year-old daughter-in-law of pan masala merchant Kamal Kishore, committed suicide a few days ago. In a case linked to the suicide incident, a case has been booked against Deepti’s husband and her mother-in-law. It is known that pan masala is famous for its brands Kamla Pasand and Rajshri. Deepti committed suicide last week at her house in Vasant Vihar, Delhi. However, a case was registered against Deepti’s husband and mother-in-law on Friday. Deepti’s mother has complained that her daughter committed suicide due to harassment. An FIR has been registered under Section 108, 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code.

Deepti hanged herself from the ceiling in her house. Her husband discovered this. He complained about the incident to his family members and the police. The police seized a diary from Deepti’s room. In it, she wrote that she had a dispute with her husband. They also seized a suicide note. The note said that there was no love, no trust. The couple married in 2010. They have a 14-year-old son. Deepti’s parents have alleged that her husband was having an affair with another woman, which led to her being physically assaulted. Deepti’s brother Rishabh has alleged that his brother-in-law is having an affair with South Indian actress Tanisha Singh.
