BRS Leader Ootkuri Bhiksham Dies of Heart Attack; Family Pledges Eye Donation

Kattangur, April 17: BRS leader and former Sarpanch Ootkuri Bhiksham of Munukuntla village in Kattangur mandal passed away on Friday due to a heart attack. After Bhiksham’s death, his family members, overcome with grief, came forward to donate his eyes. With the help of Nalgonda Icon Lions Club and Narkatpally Eye Bank, the eyes were collected from Bhiksham’s body. On one hand, tears and on the other hand, hope born through eye donation, this incident gave a message that humanity is still alive. If Bhiksham’s life symbolizes service, his death has become a guide to charity. Many consoled the family members and congratulated them for their decision.
