Andhra Pradesh News: Miscreants kill YSRC supporter in Prathipadu

GUNTUR. Guntur: Unknown miscreants brutally attacked and killed a YSRC worker at Nandipadu village in Prathipadu Mandal of Guntur district on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Nani, a resident of the same village and a youth who actively participated in YSRC programmes and election campaigns in the last few months. According to sources, the youth was brutally beaten up in broad daylight.

Though the victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, Nani succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the hospital due to severe head injuries and excessive bleeding. Local YSRC leaders blamed TDP party members for the act and demanded the police to take strict action against the accused. Meanwhile, Guntur TDP MP Dr. Pemmasani Chandrasekar urged TDP workers and leaders not to get involved in any violent incidents. He suggested TDP workers to consult party leaders if they face any problems.
