Angry girlfriend had poisoned boyfriend in drink, revealed
Janjgir-Champa. Two friends died after drinking alcohol on 26 October. Initially, it was suspected that both friends died due to drinking alcohol mixed together as if they were two different people. But in reality, the alcohol that both friends had consumed had borax mixed in it.
Police investigation has revealed that borax was mixed in the alcohol by Rajni Shandilya, girlfriend of deceased Rupesh Sande (27 years). Actually, there was a dispute going on between the two for a long time, due to which Rajni was upset. In such a situation, she along with one of her friends Basant Aditya made a plan to kill Rupesh Sande. Police have arrested both the accused. Initially, the police was also looking at the death of Rupesh Sande and his friend Shiva Banjare as just an accident. But as soon as borax was mentioned in the post-mortem report, the entire investigation was started from the angle of murder. On questioning the villagers, it was found that Rupesh’s friend is Rajni Shandilya, who lives in Budgahan village itself.
The police started keeping an eye on Rajni. Meanwhile, an informer told the police that Rupesh used to visit Rajni’s house regularly. He had met Rajni even on the day of his death. After this, the police called Rajni for questioning. During the questioning, Rajni’s vague answers strengthened the police’s suspicion. After which, when the police showed strictness, Rajni revealed the whole truth.
