Sharing a note, Anil wrote, ‘Sonam has always done things differently and it makes me very happy when she is recognized and appreciated by the audience. It is an honor to be invited among royalty to address all Commonwealth countries and I was very proud to see Sonam there.
The actor further wrote, ‘I strongly believe that Sonam should represent our country on the global stage along with more brilliant artists to usher in a new era of unity, harmony and creativity. As a father and a member of the Indian film fraternity, it gives me immense pride to see my daughter become the voice of this generation and probably no one can be a happier father than me today.
As soon as Anil shared the post, social media was flooded with likes and comments. Responding to this emotional post of her father, Sonam wrote, ‘Love you so much! This is my biggest victory. Let us tell you that after the birth of son Vayu Ahuja, Sonam has distanced herself from films. However, she is going to make a comeback in Bollywood soon.
