Another terrorist killed in Doda Encounter
DODA: Security forces killed two terrorists on Wednesday (26 June) in Gandoh area of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. After receiving information about 2-3 terrorists hiding in the area in the morning, the police and army launched a search operation, after which the encounter started at 9.50 am. A soldier of the Special Operations Group posted in Jammu and Kashmir Police has also been injured in this encounter. This soldier named Aashiq Hussain has been admitted to the Government Medical Hospital in Doda. Here the doctors have told that he has been shot in his right leg.
Officials said that there was a double terrorist attack in Doda on 11 and 12 June. Since then the Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police are conducting search operations. This morning, information was received about 2-3 terrorists hiding in the village of Sinu Panchayat. During this time, terrorists opened fire on the team from Dhok (house made of mud). Search operations are still going on in the area. The entire area is being monitored through drones and helicopters. Officials also said that a Chinese grenade was recovered from Pind village in Chingus area of Rajouri district on Tuesday evening.
