AP Minister Criticizes Jaganmohan Reddy Over State Development

Mangalagiri: AP Roads and Buildings Minister BC Janardhan Reddy has lashed out at YSR Congress Party President Jaganmohan Reddy for his alleged psychotic symptoms despite his defeat in the 2024 assembly elections. He said that he is constantly spewing venom, obstructing the development of the state. The minister spoke at a media conference organized at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri on Saturday. He said that the whole world is welcoming Amaravati as the only capital and that all parties in Parliament have expressed support, but Jagan and his gang are spreading venom.
Sakshi accused Jagan Reddy of asking questions in the media on the capital issue and claiming that he himself was giving the answers. He criticized that in the past, people were fooled in the name of three capitals and were shown hell for five years. Now, while the entire country is supporting the people’s capital, he said that YSRCP MPs have fled from Parliament. He said that this shows their sincerity towards the development of the state. He accused Jaganmohan Reddy of committing a terrible betrayal to Rayalaseema.
The minister expressed his anger that while Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is working with the theory that if he waters the Seema, he will harvest gold, Jagan is obstructing development. He said that Jagan runs away when challenged to come to discuss Rayalaseema projects. He was furious that a person who did not spend even Rs. 2 thousand crores on Seema projects out of the Rs. 12 lakh crore budget during his five-year rule is now playing dramas in the name of Rayalaseema Lift.
Minister Janardhan Reddy said that the coalition government has taken steps to complete the Rayalaseema projects with a cost of Rs. 8,000 crore in just 20 months. He reminded that Chandrababu Naidu has the credit of providing Handreeniva water to Kuppam, which is 738 km away, with a cost of Rs. 3,870 crore. He said that Rs. 203 crore has been allocated for the repairs of the Srisailam project, and 20 thousand cusecs of water has been transferred to Avuku reservoir. He said that the history of bringing water to Pulivendula is also Chandrababu Naidu’s.
The minister expressed his grief that the Annamayya project was washed away due to sand mining and mismanagement during Jagan’s rule, resulting in the loss of 39 innocent lives. He criticized Jagan for canceling the work of 102 irrigation projects through Jivo 365 and for doing injustice to Rayalaseema by not giving a single rupee for the repair of dams. He said that industries like Ultratech had left the state due to government harassment, and now they are turning Orvakal into an industrial hub and bringing in investments worth lakhs of crores.
