Apple iPad 11 likely to have A17 Pro SoC, know the latest rumor
Apple iPad 11 is likely to launch in the first quarter of 2025 and according to the latest rumor the tablet computer will be powered by the A17 Pro SoC. The latest rumor comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. According to him, the next generation of iPad will be powered by the A17 Pro chip. It is expected that the iPad 11 will get Apple intelligence features.
According to several reports, the iPad 11 with support for Apple intelligence feature will come with an older SoC. It was believed that the old M4 chipset present on the Apple iPad Pro 11th generation will be given in the iPad 11. However, the latest report by Mark Gurman states that the A17 Pro chipset given in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be present in the iPad 11. This also means that the iPad 11 will be the second iPad to be powered by the A17 Pro SoC. The first iPad model to get the A17 Pro is the iPad Mini 7th generation.
If the rumor mentioned above turns out to be true, then you don’t need to be shocked. This is because Apple is using an older generation chipset in its latest devices. The iPhone 14 line-up was introduced with the A15 Bionic chip for the base model. The iPhone 14 Pro, on the other hand, is powered by the A16 Bionic.
iPhone 16E
The next device to be launched by Apple will be the iPhone 16E (initially called the iPhone SE). The latest report mentions that the device will be launched in April 2025 and tipster Digital Chat Station has now revealed some of its specs.
Looking at the specs of the iPhone 16E, it is safe to assume that it will be closer to the iPhone 14 than any of the iPhone SE devices. The device features a 6.06-inch FHD+ LTPS OLED display that offers a refresh rate of 60Hz. There is also a notch on the iPhone 16E that will accommodate the Face ID technology.
