Arjun Singh said to the leaders – If you have money then spend it before central agencies confiscate it

Addressing a meeting of party workers in Titagarh, MP Arjun Singh said that if you have money, you should spend it as much as possible and as soon as possible. Otherwise CBI and ED will confiscate the money.
Earned money is not meant to be saved. Central agencies can confiscate if you save too much. There is a need to spend and distribute it as much as possible.
Arjun Singh, MP from Barrackpore Lok Sabha constituency in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, was officially elected as the BJP’s Lok Sabha member. However, in 2022, Arjun Singh joined TMC.
His comments come at a time when the TMC is already mired in controversy as several veteran leaders are behind bars in the school job case, and huge cash seized from two residences of Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of former West Bengal education minister Partha Chatterjee. happened.
Chatterjee is already behind bars for his alleged involvement in the cash for school job scam.
Reacting to Singh’s comments, Leader of the Opposition Shuvendu Adhikari said his comments were perhaps a reflection of his uneasiness over his existence in the TMC.
Further said that perhaps, he has realized that he may be denied nomination in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. They are realizing that the promises made to them to join TMC have not been fulfilled.
