Arrested for raping a girl on the pretext of marriage

Dhamtari: A case of raping a girl on the pretext of marriage has come to light in the district. However, on the complaint of the victim, the Kurud police arrested the accused. It is being told that accused Rajesh Sahu, a resident of village Bhusrenga, lured a girl of Kurud police station area into his love trap on the pretext of marriage and raped the girl several times, due to which the girl became pregnant.

The girl has given birth to a boy. When the victim asked the accused Rajesh Sahu to marry him, the accused refused to marry. In such a situation, the victim reached Kurud police station and lodged an FIR against the accused. On the report, the police arrested the accused on the charge of rape and started further action.
