According to the police, Assistant Constable Sanjay Kumar Vedja was posted at Police Station Bhadrakali and was currently attached to the Protected Center Bijapur. The assistant constable was staying at the headquarters Bijapur after taking leave from June 11. On June 19, he went to village Patakutru, police station Kutru and stayed in the village for the night to meet his family members.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning between 3 and 4 o’clock, 4-5 unknown killers killed the assistant constable with a sharp weapon. The police of Kutru police station is probing the murder of the assistant constable from the angle of family dispute, mutual enmity.
