ATM machine vandalized, thieves failed to withdraw money

Dantewada. Thieves attacked the SBI ATM machine at the Chowk in Mokhpal village of Dantewada district amid heavy rains on Saturday night. Thieves ransacked the ATM machine all night, yet they did not get even a single rupee. The matter belongs to Kuakonda police station area.

According to the information received, the thieves reached the ATM late at night. They first switched off the lights there and then vandalized the machine. Where the machine is installed, the camera is installed just above it and the DVR of that camera remains near the cash box of the ATM machine. Therefore, as soon as the DVR comes out of the machine, the thieves can also be identified. At present, the Kuakonda police have reached the spot and locked the room containing the ATM machine from outside because the ATM machine will be opened only in front of the employees of the private company maintaining the ATM and the bank officials, after which the police will proceed with their proceedings.
