Azam Khan met the relatives of those who died in the Amroha Tajia accident, both the dead were handed over to the ashes
Amroha (IANS). Veteran Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan arrived on Sunday to console the families of the victims after two people were killed and around 70 were injured in the Tajia accident in Patei Khalsa village of Amroha district in Uttar Pradesh.
Khan reached the house of the deceased and talked to the family members. Expressing grief over the incident, he consoled the family members of the victims and assured all possible help. He stayed in the village for about 30 minutes and returned.
Azam Khan first reached the place of deceased Shane Mohammad’s son Zarif Ahmed and interacted with the family members and consoled them. He also inquired about the condition of Uwais, son of Shane Mohammad. After that he reached the house of deceased minor Uwais son Tahir and consoled the family members. During this, there was a crowd of villagers. However, the SP leader kept distance from the media and did not interact with anyone.
It may be known that the traditional procession of tenth Moharram was being taken out on Saturday in Patei Khalsa village of Didoli Kotwali area. On exiting the village, Tajia was being carried in a tractor-tripler. Meanwhile, on the way in the grip of the high tension line, the current ran in Tazia and Tazia got burnt with a loud explosion. More than 70 people were injured due to electrocution.

In the Taija accident, both the dead were cremated on Sunday morning. Hundreds of people with moist eyes attended the funeral of both and prayed for the forgiveness of the dead. When the funeral pyres of both the deceased were sent to the cemetery together, there was chaos. More than one thousand people attended the funeral. During this, the police force was present in terms of security. SP MLA from Amroha Mehboob Ali also attended the funeral. On the other hand, as the people who got burnt in the accident are recovering, they have started returning home from the hospital.
