Ban imposed on entry to Mission Hospital, declared dilapidated
Bilaspur. The district administration has taken over the Mission Hospital premises. After which, in view of the poor condition of the building, it has now been declared dilapidated. In view of the possibility of loss of life, the administration has banned entry inside the building without permission. On Wednesday, the corporation administration has pasted a notice in the building.
Officials say that the building of Mission Hospital is very old. Its period is also almost over. Due to lack of maintenance, the building is in a dilapidated state. The administration had written a letter to the Municipal Corporation to get information about the technical and current condition of the building. After which Corporation Commissioner Amit Kumar formed a five-member technical and administrative team and ordered an investigation.
The corporation team included Chief Engineer, Executive Engineer, Building Officer, Zone Commissioner and Patwari. The investigation team inspected the building and thoroughly examined the technical aspects. Technical tests were also conducted.
After this, the investigation team presented a report of risks like collapse of the building. Based on the report, the Corporation Commissioner has imposed a ban on entry or stay in the building due to the possibility of loss of life.
