Gurugram. Bandhwadi toll plaza located on Gurugram-Faridabad Expressway will soon be equipped with Fastag. About 80 thousand vehicles pass on this expressway every day in the morning and evening. There is a system of manual and tag toll collection at Bandhwadi toll plaza.
This tag is not linked to NHAI’s Fast Tag. In such a situation, most of the people pay manual toll at this toll plaza. This creates a problem of traffic jam during peak hours. About Rs 8 crore will be spent to install the fast tag system at this toll plaza.
PWD B&R EXEN Charandeep Singh said that the file has been sent to the Haryana government for administrative approval. Immediately after getting the approval, orders will be issued to the toll operating agency to install the necessary equipment for Fast Tag.
