Bank friend Radha Kashyap got financial strength from Bihan Yojana

Kondagaon. The government’s welfare schemes are bringing positive changes in the lives of villagers in the remote areas of Bastar region. Among these, Bihan Yojana is playing an important role, which is not only developing the villages but also making rural women empowered and self-reliant. Radha Kashyap, a resident of Gumdi, a small village in Makdi development block of Kondagaon district, is a living example of this change. Radha Kashyap lives with her husband and two children, today her family is living a happy life. But five years ago the situation was not like this. Because Radha and her husband could hardly manage to get two meals a day. Radha’s husband used to do farming to run the house and Radha used to spend all her time in household chores and farming work. She decided to do something to help the family and joined the Durga Self Help Group in the year 2016. From here her journey of becoming self-reliant started.
