Raipur. When Bastar’s daughter Hemvati Nag, a Judo player awarded with the Prime Minister National Bal Award, told Prime Minister Modi, “I brought a gold medal in Judo at the national level. Hemvati Nag is an emerging Judo player.
She has won many prizes by performing brilliantly in Khelo India National Games and various national level competitions. She comes from Naxal-affected Kondagaon. After coming from a Naxal-affected area, Hemvati has faced every challenge with her passion and hard work. She has tried to fulfill her dreams in difficult circumstances.
Hemvati Nag is a resident of Mariguri village of Kondagaon. She faced many difficulties in her life. Her mother died in 2018 and her father in 2019. After this, in 2020, Hemvati Nag started living in Balika Griha. From here she started her journey as a Judo player. She has participated in many national competitions. After the death of her parents, she did not let herself become weak and today she is moving towards success.
