Bengaluru Cash Van Heist Cracked 3 Arrested Rs 5 76 Crore Recovered

The mystery of the robbery of a cash van transporting money from a bank has been solved. The police who investigated have arrested three accused. Out of the Rs 7.11 crore stolen, Rs 5.76 crore has been recovered. (Bengaluru Cash-Van Heist) This incident that took place in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru has created a stir. On November 18, at 12.48 pm, some people stopped a CMS cash van transporting Rs 7.11 crore from a bank branch at Ashoka Pillar near Jayanagar Dairy Circle. The people who came in a vehicle with a ‘government vehicle’ sticker made people believe that they were RBI officials. They threatened the van staff with a gun. They said that they had to verify the documents related to the money. They loaded the cash boxes into their vehicle along with the staff. On the way, they got the van staff off and fled with Rs 7.11 crore.
Meanwhile, police teams have been formed to investigate the incident that created a sensation in Bengaluru. More than 30 suspects were questioned in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Goa. Finally, during the investigation, the police came to know that the robbery was committed by people from the CMS organization.
The in-charge responsible for the movement of the company’s vehicles, a former employee who was well-versed in the company’s operations, and a police constable from Govindapura police station who provided ground support and intelligence information were arrested. Police suspect that 6 to 8 people, including CMS logistics handlers, spotters and money movers, were involved in the operation.
On the other hand, Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh said that the gang had been planning and conducting reconnaissance for three months to rob the cash van. He said that Rs. 5.76 crores have been seized. He said that the three accused who were arrested are from Bengaluru. He said that this is a serious case. He said that the heads of the CMS company have been called to prevent such a thing from happening again. He explained that they have discussed with them about the violation of RBI guidelines and security lapses. The Police Commissioner presented a cash reward of Rs. 5 lakh to the Bengaluru Police team that cracked the case within 60 hours.
