Bengaluru: Former Indian cricketer David Johnson found dead in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Former Indian cricketer David Johnson was found dead outside his apartment on Thursday, police said. “It is believed that 52-year-old David Jude Johnson fell from his apartment in Kanaka Sree Layout in Kothanur, raising suspicion of suicide,” a police official said. Further investigation is underway, he said. Police sources said the cricketer was unwell for some time. They said former fast bowler Johnson is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter. The cricketer played two Test matches for India in 1996.
