Bengaluru Techie Murdered by Teen Neighbor for Rejecting Sexual Advances

The recent death of a young woman in Bengaluru has taken a crucial turn. It has been revealed that her death was not an accident or a suicide, but a murder. The police have identified the murderer as 18-year-old Karnal Kurai, a youth living opposite. DK Sharmila, a 34-year-old woman, used to work in a software job in an apartment in Subramani Layout in Ramamurthy area of Bengaluru. She died in her flat on the 3rd of this month.
Based on the circumstances, the police initially believed that there had been a fire in the house and that she had died of suffocation. However, the police registered a case of suspicious death and investigated. The forensic report and scientific evidence there showed that it was not a natural death but a murder. When the suspects were questioned, Karnal Kurai, a young man who lived opposite Sharmila’s house, confessed to the murder. However, the manner of the murder was shocking. According to the details given by the police, on January 3, Sharmila was alone in her house. Noticing this, Karnal entered her house through a window at 9 pm.
