Bharadi police caught 2 thieves stealing tractor batteries
Bharadi (Himachal Pradesh): Bharari police has caught two thieves stealing tractor batteries in Bari Chhajoli and Dangar villages on Saturday night, while the third one is being searched. According to the information, thieves broke into the area on Saturday night in village Dangar Bari Chhajoli on National Highway-103 Shimla-Mataur and stole the batteries of tractors parked on the roadside. Batteries of 4 tractors were stolen by thieves. When the thieves were stealing the battery of a tractor near Dangar, one of the thieves, Gullu, was caught by Pritam Singh, a resident of Dangar and informed the Bharari police. A team from the police station immediately reached Dangar and took the accused into their custody.
The other two associates of the accused managed to escape. An operation was launched by the police with the help of local residents to search for the thieves but both the accused managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness and heavy rain. However, during the search operation, Bharari police recovered 3 batteries on the road leading from Dangar towards Ropardi village. Let us tell you that one of the accomplices of the arrested thief has been taken into custody by the Bharari police on Sunday. The search for the third one is going on. DSP Ghumarwin Chandrapal Singh said that two thieves have been caught and the search for the third is going on. Stolen batteries have also been recovered. They are being interrogated regarding other thefts.
