Bhatti Vikramark deputy CM, senior in first list for Telangana cabinet

Hyderabad: It is likely that around 11 Congress MLAs will be included in the new state cabinet of the Congress government in the first term. He is expected to take the ministerial oath along with A Revanth Reddy, who will be sworn in as the new Minister Principal of Telangana at Stadium LB on Thursday at 13.04 hrs.

Sources said Congress leaders will send the names to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, who will conduct the jury. After returning to Delhi on Wednesday night, it was learned that Revanth Reddy had personally called all the ministerial aspirants to share the good news, including Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who is expected to become the Deputy Minister Principal.

According to reports, the old district of Khammam will have the maximum number of three ministers: Bhatti Vikramarka, Tummala Nageswara Rao and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy. N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy Venkata Reddy will represent the old district Nalgonda, while D Anasuya alias Seethakka and Konda Surekha got the opportunity to become ministers of the old district of Warangal.

Similarly, D Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar will be included in the cabinet from the old district of Karimnagar. It is also expected that Damodar Rajanarasimha from old Medak district and Jupalli Krishna Rao from old Mahabubnagar district will take oath as ministers.

Bhatti Vikramarka, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Seethakka and Ponnam Prabhakar have become ministers for the first time, while the rest of the Congress leaders have previously been ministers in old Andhra Pradesh. Bhatti Vikramark has previously been the Vice President of Congress and also the leader of the legislature party.
