Bhubaneswar Pattathon 2026: Saree-Clad Marathon on 25 January – Today is the Final Day to Register

Bhubaneswar: KIIT and KISS are gearing up for the 3rd edition of Pattathon. Planned to be held on Sunday, 25th January, the unique event is organized in spirit of women empowerment and “Education for All”.

The event calls for women employees of KIIT and KISS, and women from all over Odisha to run in a marathon. The distinct feature of this event is that thousands of women participate wearing traditional sarees to run in the mararthon.

Similar to previous editions, the prize pool includes rewards of 50 thousand, 40 thousand and 30 thousand rupees. The winners will be awarded Patta Sarees, and the 7 runner-ups are to be awarded 10 thousands each. Willing participants should note that prior registration is required. Registration ends today.
