Bhubaneswar: Sisir Saras 2024 begins in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: Sisir Saras 2024 national level trade fair has started in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. It is an annual fair which will attract a large number of people.
Sisir Saras 2024 is a national level fair cum exhibition organized by ORMAS, a part of Panchayati Raj Department of Odisha. The fair has started from 06 January and will continue till 15 January 2024.
More than 400 stalls have been set up at the Biju Patnaik playground in the Baramunda area of the capital Bhubaneswar for the fair. In this fair, handicrafts and handloom products made by SHGs across the country will be sold.
Apart from this, cultural programs will be organized every evening. Famous singers and dancers are going to entertain the audience during this fair. The fair will have 2000 participants representing 26 states of India.
This time special arrangements have been made so that the disabled can enjoy the fair without any hassle. Volunteers will take them in battery operated cars or wheel chairs so that they can enjoy the fair.
There will be special food court, selfie point, open quiz and drawing competitions for students in the fair. There will also be arrangements for LED screens for screening live events. Odia food items along with dishes from other states and Koraput coffee, cakes, sweets etc. made from millet under the Millet Mission will be available in the food court. There will be a special stall of Mission Shakti Group.
During the fair, the fair will be open every day at 11 am and will continue till 9 pm.
