Bhupesh Baghel is reaching Raj Bhavan in some time, will resign
Raipur : After losing the assembly elections, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel went to Raj Bhavan this evening and submitted his resignation to the Governor. Congress Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Nine ministers of the state including Singh Dev were defeated. According to the Election Commission, BJP has two-third majority in the state. According to the results so far, BJP has won 24 seats in the state and is leading on 30 seats, while Congress has been able to win only 15 and 21 seats. The seat advantage remains intact.
It is reported that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has asked to meet at Raj Bhavan at 9.30 am. He will submit his resignation to the Governor. If we look at the election results, nine ministers of the state including the Deputy Chief Minister of Congress lost. Also Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Lost the election. Singhdev from Ambikapur, Ravindra Choubey from Saji, Mohammad Akbar from Kawardhi, Shivkumar Dahria from Arang, Mohan Markam from Kondagaon, Amarjeet Bhagat from Sitapur, Rudra Guru from Navagarh and Jai Singh Agarwal from Korba.
Former Prime Minister Dr. Responding to BJP’s victory, Raman Singh said that behind this big victory is the hard work and effective leadership of the central leadership and the blessings of the people of the state. He said that the public had contacted Vijay Tilak regarding Modi’s assurances. Now we all together will develop Chhattisgarh. There is immense enthusiasm among BJP workers about the big victory in Chhattisgarh. Angry BJP workers reached the party office in large numbers with bulldozers. BJP workers praised PM Modi for the victory.
