Bihar: IPS officer’s initiative, starts ‘Rail Police School’ for street children
Muzaffarpur (IANS). Taking a unique initiative to make street children literate, an IPS officer in Bihar has started Rail Police School. This initiative of the IPS officer is being discussed everywhere.
Actually, on the initiative of Muzaffarpur Railway SP Kumar Ashish, Rail Police School has been started for the abandoned children roaming at Muzaffarpur Junction.
In this unique initiative, free education is being given to the abandoned and needy children wandering on various platforms. It is being said that on the occasion of Independence Day, Railway Police Muzaffarpur has tried to give freedom to about two dozen children from the world of ignorance and possible crime.
After the inauguration of this school, Railway SP himself is engaged in teaching the children. He taught A B C D to small children. He told that first a list of children wandering around was prepared, after which everyone was given a bag, book, copy, slate, pencil, pen etc.
After teaching them continuously for a few days, they will be enrolled in the nearest government schools. He said that the Railway Police School would also run after the school hours so that they could be made at par with the rest of the children. People encouraged the children and Rail SP while guiding them said that no goal is difficult, if they are determined then these children also have skill and ability.
It is worth mentioning that under community policing, the current Railway SP has done many such experiments in different districts as SP in the past, which has continuously strengthened the concept of crime control and better society.
