Bike catches fire in Rourkela, rider burnt alive

Rourkela: In a tragic incident, a bike caught fire in Rourkela of Sundargarh district in Odisha and the bike rider died in the mishap.

According to reports, two bikes collided head-on and one of the bikes caught fire. One of the riders was burnt and died on the spot. Another bike rider has allegedly been critically injured and rushed to the hospital.

The incident has been reported from Tutupali village under Andhari panchayat in Sundargarh district of Odisha. The incident took place on the highway.

The police reached the spot, seized the body and sent it for postmortem. The injured was rushed to the nearby hospital. An investigation has been initiated in this regard.
