Bike collides with steep highway, youth dies
Durg. Three people died in two separate road accidents in the district. According to information, an unknown vehicle crushed two people riding a bike, in which both of them died on the spot. In the second incident, a young man riding a bike collided with a highway standing on the road. In this way, three youths lost their lives in both the accidents. This is a case of Anjora and Amleshwar police station area.
It is being told that the accident took place near Khairagarh Fort Bypass Road under Anjora Chowki area of Durg at 4 am on Sunday. In this, two cousins were hit by an unknown vehicle. The driver has fled from the spot after the accident. The police is busy searching for him. Police said that the deceased have been identified as Abhishek Verma (18 years) and Sachin Verma (18 years). Both were residents of Hamirpur, UP.
The second accident took place between Tarra and Jamgaon M under Amaleshwar police station of Durg. There was a highway standing on the roadside, when Toman Chaturvedi, a resident of Tarra village, came on his bike and collided with the highway. Due to this he suffered serious injuries on his head, hands and legs. He died on the spot due to excessive bleeding. The police is investigating the matter
