Bike collides with tube well wall, driver dies
Haroli. A youth riding a bike died in a road accident in Naganoli village of Haroli assembly. According to the information, 24-year-old Jeevan Kumar alias Kaku, son of Satish Kumar, resident of Jalgran village, was going towards his home on bike late on Saturday night after attending a program at someone’s house in Naganoli village. During this time he met with an accident at a sharp turn on the Una-Gagret main road.
During the accident, the bike rider collided with the wall of the government tube well below the road. Since it was late at night, no one had any information about the incident. When the tube well worker came on Sunday morning and saw, the young man had fallen there along with the bike. Whose information he gave to the local Gram Panchayat head and others.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Pandaga police reached the spot, registered the case and started taking further action. Regarding this, Haroli police station in-charge Sunil Namyan said that a case has been registered in this regard and further action is being taken. Regarding the death of a youth in a road accident, local Gram Panchayat head Mehtab Singh said that many accidents have happened at this spot before.
Due to the sharp turn at this spot, the unknowing driver becomes victim of a road accident. Mehtab Singh requested the concerned department to install either white lines on both sides of the road at this spot or cat ice reflectors so that the drivers can be aware of the sharp turns and the width of the road at night.
