Biker killed after skidding under truck in West Khasi Hills

A 54 year old man riding his bike lost his life after his two wheeler skidded and went under the rear tire of a truck at Mawïaban Village in West Khasi Hills District. The biker, identified as Phrailanes Nongsiej (54 years old), was a resident of Mawranglang Village, Mawranglang South West Khasi Hills. According to the police report, Nongsiej was riding near one HP Petrol station at Mawïaban when his bike, bearing registration number ML-06-4170, skidded and came under the rear tire of the truck, bearing registration number ML 06-A- 2572, driven by one Oberlin Sohshang a resident of Mawsaw West Khasi Hills District.
