Bilaspur-Ambikapur flight stopped, this is the reason

Bilaspur. Fly Big Company’s Bilaspur-Ambikapur air service has now been discontinued. Earlier this flight used to operate six days a week, but was being operated only for three days due to lack of passengers. Now the company has completely discontinued the service citing lack of visibility during monsoon. The ticket buying site is also closed.

The fare of this flight was fixed at only Rs 1048, yet the number of passengers was very low, due to which the company had to take this decision. The company’s website has also been closed and now tickets are not being sold. Due to the closure of the flight, passengers traveling by air between Bilaspur and Ambikapur will now have to face great disappointment.

This air service was considered an important initiative towards increasing regional connectivity, but it has been discontinued due to not getting the expected response.
