Bilaspur High Court summoned SDM
Bilaspur. A petition has been filed in the High Court regarding corruption in Bilaspur tehsil in the name of diversion and no work being done without money, on which the High Court has taken a tough stance and asked the Bilaspur Collector to respond with an affidavit. The court has asked the Collector how many cases of diversion are registered and how many are pending. Besides, the division bench of High Court Chief Justice Ramesh Kumar Sinha has also summoned Bilaspur SDM. Let us tell you that Bilaspur resident Rohani Dubey had applied for a diversion case in Bilaspur tehsil. Even after a long time, this matter was neither heard in the tehsil, nor was it resolved.
Meanwhile, he got information that this case has been stopped only because of some money. Protesting this, he sought answers from the officials, but no one paid attention. After this, Rohani filed a petition in the High Court through his advocate Rajeev Dubey, in which it has been said that no work is done in the Tehsil office without money. A lot of corruption is happening in the Tehsil office right under the nose of the SDM. Taking the matter seriously, the Division Bench of the High Court Chief Justice has sought a reply from Bilaspur Collector along with an affidavit and has ordered the SDM to appear personally in the hearing on February 27.
