BJP and RSS are trying to create tension in Tamil Nadu: M. Veerapandian
Tamil Nadu: Communist Party of India state secretary M. Veerapandian said that the BJP and RSS are trying to create tension in Tamil Nadu through the Tiruparankundram issue.
Speaking to reporters at the Communist Party of India district office in Erode on Saturday evening, he said:
The court’s verdict in the Tiruparankundram case is unacceptable. It is an attack on the law. The police department has taken appropriate steps to ensure that peace is not disturbed. Also, the people of Madurai are united.
Several parties, including the BJP and Hindu Munnani, are trying to escalate the Tiruparankundram issue. It is shocking that BJP leaders are saying that it is not wrong for Tamil Nadu to become like Ayodhya. The BJP and RSS are trying to create tension in Tamil Nadu, which is free from any such tensions.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has worked to de-escalate the tension in the Tiruparankundram issue. The majority Hindus are protecting the minority communities. The BJP and RSS do not like this.
The Sri Lankan Navy is attacking Tamil Nadu fishermen, so the Indian government should not take this issue lightly. The central government should pressure Sri Lanka to stop this. The central government should take steps to ensure that Tamil Nadu fishermen can fish freely in the sea.
The Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), and VVIP are going to hold a protest on the 8th against the four labor laws brought in by the central government. He said that just as Kerala has stated that it will not implement the labor laws, the Tamil Nadu government should also announce that it will not implement the new labor laws in Tamil Nadu.
