BJP candidate got relief from High Court

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has directed the Hussaini Alam police not to take coercive action against sitting advocate and BJP candidate from Charminar, Megharani Agarwal, in connection with an FIR registered during an election rally.

The police had accused Megharani and others of causing nuisance and disturbance while filing nomination papers. The police have already issued him a Section 41-A CrPC notice. As her response was delayed and fearing police action, she approached the court seeking protection.
