BJP leader criticizes Congress for rejecting Ayodhya invitation
New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Nalin Kohli on Thursday criticized the grand old party and questioned the Congress for rejecting the invitation to attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. An attempt is being made to do politics over the grand event in the holy city.
“If they do not want to be there, then why drag the RSS and the BJP, and why are they trying to do politics over the consecration of Lord Ram temple?” Lashed out heavily on the BJP leader. Speaking to ANI on this subject, Kohli said, ‘It is for the top leadership of the Congress party to decide whether they would like to be present for the consecration of Lord Ram and the inauguration of the grand temple in Ayodhya on January 22 or not.’
He also criticized Congress for denying the existence of Lord Ram. He said, “This should not be surprising because when the Congress party was in government, it had denied the existence of Lord Ram in an affidavit filed before the Honorable Supreme Court.”
He slammed the Congress for blaming the BJP and the RSS and dragging them over their refusal to attend the “Pran Pratistha” of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi also came down hard on the Congress on Thursday, saying top leaders of the grand old party had rejected the invitation to attend Ram Lalla’s ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony in Ayodhya only “for appeasement”. Have given. ,
Speaking to ANI, Prahlad Joshi said that the Congress party has reached the ‘extreme limits of appeasement’.
This comes after Congress termed the Ram temple consecration ceremony as a “BJP/RSS event”.
Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury will not attend the event on January 22, terming the event as a “BJP/RSS event”.
