BJP Offers Deputy CM Post to Vijay, 80 Seats to Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam

If BJP and TVK come together, they will contest in Tamil Nadu as an NDA alliance. According to the current proposals, BJP is ready to give 80 seats to TVK. They have also said that Vijay will also be given the post of Deputy CM. But Vijay has set his sights on the Chief Minister’s post. This has become a key point in these discussions. On the other hand, there has been a campaign that AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has taken the initiative for these discussions. But there is no clarity from Pawan on this issue. Vijay has a good fan base in Tamil Nadu. BJP thinks that if they get the support of such an actor with a mass following, they will get a deal. BJP thinks that two percent votes can change Tamil Nadu politics. That is why BJP expects that if Vijay joins them, those two percent votes will turn towards them.

However, some leaders of TVK feel that joining the BJP will damage their credibility. The leaders there say that Vijay wants his own image and their party should be an alternative.
