BJP panchayat member arrested over ‘fake’ video in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram (IANS) | A BJP local body member has been arrested for making and circulating a fake video. It said that the Plus 2 results of the state board have been cancelled. The arrest was made following a complaint by state Education Minister V. Sivankutty. The accused Nikhil Manohar is a ward member of Poruvazhy panchayat in Kollam district.

Plus 2 results were declared a few days back. YouTuber Manohar put up a video, saying that the results have been cancelled.

Sivankutty termed it as an act of terrorism and complained to the police, who arrested the accused.
