Ambikapur. On Monday, a BJP worker allegedly attacked a journalist while taking a bite from Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at the BJP’s divisional worker felicitation ceremony. Journalists immediately complained about this to the CM. There was a situation of boycott of the press conference, but then the matter calmed down after the intervention of senior BJP leaders.
The BJP worker is said to be from Surajpur district. Before this, BJP state in-charge Om Mathur encouraged the workers from the stage and congratulated them for the victory. The morale increased so much that this incident happened just before CM Vishnudev Sai could talk to the journalists.

As soon as Chief Minister Sai reached there after the incident, the journalists in one voice expressed strong protest against the incident. Earlier, there was an argument with the policemen at the entrance regarding journalists and BJP workers taking off their black coats or jackets.
