Blanket worth Rs 4 lakh seized from vehicle, caught by SST team at check post

Balrampur. The SST team took action through various checkposts of the district and seized goods including cash. The team has seized 400 blankets along with Rs 3 lakh 91 thousand in cash. The SST team is continuously monitoring the Dhanwar check post of the district and the Kanhar river check post of Ramanujganj.

The SST team has also collected GST of Rs 4 lakh 60 thousand at Dhanwar check post. As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, the Model Code of Conduct is effective in the state. Under which, the illegally transported materials are being monitored through the formation of teams in various check posts of the district.

In this series, during investigation at Dhanwar check post, Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand was seized from vehicle number CG 15 DT 2300 and Rs 2 lakh 61 thousand 500 was seized from another vehicle number DL CG 4727. At the same time, 400 pieces of blankets have been seized by the SST team from Kanhar check post of Ramanujganj. Whose estimated price is said to be Rs 1 lakh 36 thousand.
