BMW electric scooter launched in India
Business Business: BMW has launched the CE 04 electric scooter in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price has been fixed at Rs 1.49 lakh. The German company has entered the two-wheeler electric sector in the country with this scooter. BMW electric cars have been selling in India for a long time, but BMW Motorrad took some time to launch an electric car. The CE 04 electric scooter is equipped with many features. This is a premium electric scooter of this company. It may not be in the budget of every customer.
This electric scooter is equipped with a 31 kW electric motor that produces 41 horsepower and 61 Nm of torque. According to BMW, this scooter accelerates from zero to 50 km/h in 2.6 seconds. Its top speed is 120 km/h. A suite of electronics monitors everything, including riding modes, a 10.25-inch TFT display and traction control.
This scooter is equipped with an 8.5 kWh battery and can travel 130 km on a single charge. It takes just over 4 hours to charge the battery. If that sounds like too much for you, BMW also offers a quick charger for an additional fee. Full charge in just 1.40 hours. The design of the CE 04 body parts is stylish. It includes design elements such as a bench-like seat, a small windshield, wheels and a single offset shock absorber.
It has a two-ring steel frame under the bicycle-like body. It has a single-bridge telescopic fork at the front and a single-sided swingarm with direct-link suspension at the rear. The scooter runs on 15-inch wheels and has 265 mm disc brakes on both sides. ABS is also standard equipment. It is currently available in one variant. It is available in Imperial Blue and Light White colours. Reservations have started
