Body of home guard recovered from pond in Ganjam of Odisha
Sorada: In a shocking incident, the body of a home guard has been recovered from a pond in Ganjam district in Odisha, said reports on Monday.
The dead body of the home guard was recovered from the pond near Badagad police station of Ganjam district. The deceased home guard has been identified as Balaram Das of Badagada village in Ganjam.
He had allegedly not reported at work in the police station since a week. But today in the morning, the local people saw the dead body of the home guard floating in the pond.
On receiving the information, the police rescued the dead body from the pond and sent it to Badagad community health center (CHC).
However, the cause of death still remains unclear. Police is further investigating the incident. The police officer investigating the case said that the real cause of death will be known after the autopsy. Detailed reports awaited in this matter.
