Amaravati: Bomb threats have been received at courts in three districts of Andhra Pradesh. Police and court staff have been alerted and inspections have begun. Unknown persons threatened courts in Anantapur, Eluru and Madanapalle via email on Thursday that they had planted bombs in the courts.
The letters received through the mail were handed over to the police by the judicial officers. With this, the judges, lawyers, and staff in the court were sent out and the police and bomb squad teams inspected the court premises. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when it was found that there were no bombs.
