Bribery in CG Ayurveda Hospital, doctor may face suspension
Bilaspur: A case of a doctor demanding bribe from a patient in the name of treatment in a government hospital has come to light. The video of which is also going viral. The patient has also complained to the hospital management about the matter but no action has been taken yet. This entire matter is of the Government Ayurveda Hospital located in Sarkanda.
According to the information, Dr. Brijesh Singh of Sarkanda Government Ayurveda Hospital has been accused of demanding a bribe of Rs 3 thousand for the treatment of fistula and a video of him demanding bribe has also surfaced. Complainant Hitesh Sahu told that he had admitted his brother Jayant Kumar Sahu to the hospital for the treatment of fistula. During the treatment, he was forced to buy expensive medicines and operation equipment. When the treatment was successful, while discharging, Dr. Brijesh Singh and his colleague demanded bribe.
In the viral video of the bribe, it can be seen how arrogantly the doctor and his colleagues are seen demanding money from the patient’s family. The patient’s brother has complained to the hospital management about the doctor demanding bribe, but no action has been taken even after the complaint.
