Kawardha. A tragic road accident occurred amid Holi celebrations. A speeding pickup truck crushed a brother and sister riding a bike. The young man died on the spot, while his sister was seriously injured. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and established a case and began investigating.
According to information, the accident occurred near Birkona on National Highway 30, Raipur-Jabalpur. The deceased has been identified as Amar Diwan, a student in Raipur. It is reported that Amar was returning from Raipur to his village, Bodtara, with his sister on a bike to celebrate Holi.
At that time, a speeding pickup truck struck their bike. Amar Diwan died on the spot. His sister was seriously injured and was immediately admitted to the district hospital, where she is undergoing treatment. The pickup driver fled the scene after the accident. The family is inconsolable due to this tragic incident on Holi.
