On January 1, 2024, accused Purushottam Jagat raped her on the pretext of taking her out for a New Year outing. He even threatened to kill me if I told. After which he continued to carry out the crime by continuously intimidating him. In the month of February, Rajim took him to a fair, then took him to Odisha and raped him for 24 days in a rented house. When the victim returned home and asked for adoption, the brother-in-law flatly refused. The victim told her ordeal to her family. After which a written complaint was made in the matter.

Police station in-charge Gautam Gawde said that after the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against the accused Purushottam Jagat under IPC 376,506, the accused has been arrested and presented in the court.
